The Association exists to educate and engage property owners of North and South Twin Lakes on issues that affect the lakes and the quality of life they provide. It serves as a collective voice for property owners, representing their best interests on matters affecting the lakes and the communities of Conover and Phelps, while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the North & South Twin Lakes Protection and Rehabilitation District to advocate for the health and quality of the lakes.

The Association also works to build a strong sense of community and shared stewardship among property owners, recognizing that North and South Twin Lakes are fragile resources whose reputation, property values, and future depend on responsible citizenship. This includes promoting awareness of the lakes’ importance and supporting appropriate zoning and land- and water-use practices that protect riparian owners and the long-term well-being of both lakes.

North and South Twin Lakes Riparian Association is a separate entity from the North and South Twin Lake District which was created in November of 2017. The Lake District's intent is to protect the ecological integrity and environmental quality of the lake. To learn more about the Lake District and get updates - check out their website!

North and South Twin Lakes Riparian Association was incorporated under chapter 181 of the State Statutes in 1995 and became tax exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code June 7, 2002.
